UOB meets with Johor Chief Minister in talks on Special Economic Zone

The new Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (SEZ) will enhance cross-border economic connections and benefit businesses across sectors in both countries.

Said UOB CEO Wee Ee Cheong, after hosting Johor Chief Minister Onn Hafiz Ghazi at UOB’s Singapore headquarters on July 1. The SEZ aims to bolster the entire supply chain and attract foreign direct investment (FDI).

UOB reaffirmed its long-term commitment to Malaysia during private meetings and facilitated a roundtable with business leaders to strengthen economic ties.
